PROFESSIONAL WRECKING CONTRACTOR REMOVES THE ICONIC OASIS CROSSING I-90 TO EXPAND THE ROADWAY
The Oasis is a building on a bridge crossing the freeway that had restaurants and other amenities in it. A strong plan had to be created by our pro wrecking contractor company to remove the structure crossing live traffic and was the first if it’s kind ever removed. The plan was executed to perfection and the structure was removed ahead of schedule without incident.
An award from the Illinois State Highway Authority was presented on this project. (Special Recognition Contractor of the Year).

The Illinois Department of Transportation has proposed a route for a new limited-access highway on the west side of O’Hare Airport which would connect with the Jane Addams Tollway at the site of the Des Plaines Oasis project.
